AKQA was hired by NRG, a fortune 500 company to change pretty much everything. We started with a simple insight, energy is energy it’s the people of NRG that set it apart from the rest of the industry. We proceeded to launch NRG as a new brand: 360 campaign, new website, new brand guidelines. But was it successful? Since the launch of the site and campaign, online lead conversion has increased 10x year-on-year.
A NEW MODULAR WEBSITE
To better serve NRG’s clientele we created a modular site powered by personalization. Every visit to the site was captured and analyzed ensuring the next visit to the site surface the information the user was most likely interested in viewing. For existing customers this created an incredibly customized experience.
NEW BRAND GUIDELINES
To power all of the work we did for NRG, we created a completely new set of brand guidelines. The guidelines introduce a new more modern color palette combined with a cleaner aesthetic.
The end result was a more approachable and human company in an industry that is known for quite the opposite.
MAKE IT HUMAN
Energy is a complicated subject, energy creation and distribution is a whole other level of complicated. So we created a series of case study films of NRG offerings in order to better communicated the brands portfolio to potential customers.
