A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Hi there. My name is Josh Combs. I’m a multidisciplinary creative with experience as an art director/designer/copywriter. I’ve held creative director positions at AKQA, Fallon, and JWT over the past 10 years and worked at a handful of shops before that. My work has been recognized by Cannes, D&AD, The One Show, Webbys, FWA, and more. I’ve worked in New York, Minneapolis, Portland and for a spell in Paris.

I’m currently based back in NYC where I most recently led the creative department at AKQA where I managed a department of 30 creatives from all disciplines and oversaw the creative output of the studio.

Currently, I’m freelancing, traveling, cooking, and recalibrating my headspace after 20 years in advertising.

A LITTLE ABOUT LENNON

If we have the pleasure to work together or even just meet for coffee you’re going to hear quite a bit about Lennon so here’s an onboarding. She’s my daughter. And she’s the best. I know parents are supposed to say that but come on, she’s the absolute best. An 11-year-old minecraft loving, tech coding, Rick Riordan fan girl force of nature. She’s everything to me. My best friend. My sense of home. And my inspiration to constantly try and be better. I hope you get to meet her someday. Love you Len-O!
